Most of the people turn off the lights while watching films, this is why I am gonna talk about how controlled lightening should be. As long as you don?t watch your LCD TV from minimum range, do not turn off the lights to prevent eye strain. Ideal setting is putting a dim light behind the LCD television and turning of the other lights. Prefer ?daylight? lamps that glow at 6.500 degrees of Kelvin. Most of the film and television programs producer use this color hear while shooting. Also try to minimize glare to the LCD screen.

Your television must offer a convenient display size with respect to your sitting place. If you sit cloose too much display quality becomes lower than it should be, but if you sit too far you may not be able to experience high quality display as you want.

There is a small fluorescent lamp behind LCD TVs? panels?. Thisl lamp affects brightness of the screen. In a controlled enlightened and dimmed room, before configuring brigtness and contrast lower the brightness of the fluorescent lamp as much as you can. You can set it as you like later. Some LCD televisions have lower watching angles than the others. This is why you should be careful about standing in front the television, also try to be at the same height level.

Technically LCD televisions? brightness control is called as black levels, the reason is this control is actually displays black parts? dense setting. Extreme brightness causes pale view. Low brightness causes details to meld within shadows, spaces between dark parts to become black color. Set brightness to the highest level and lower till you find the brightness level fit for your taste.
