Question About My Sharp Lcd Tv?

Ok We have a flat panal Sharp Aquos LCD tv… and every now & then the sound will go out & it will say MONO we have to cut the tv off for like 5 min & then when we cut it back on it will work & say Stereo, Why is it going to MONO on it’s pwn? But our higher Digital channels always have sound no matter what, Because we are renting the TV we have no instruction book.

There is something wrong with the set. Return it and get another.

Does it switch to MONO on certain channels? If so, then it’s probably because those channels are analog and MONO is all it’s putting out. If that is not the case, have you tried going in through the menu options and tinkering with the sound sub menu?
If you want the manual, you can get it online. Look at the back of the tv. Should see a sticker on it. On that sticker should be your model number. Write that number down, then go to google and search for Sharp +++++++ manual.
