You have it connected to component. You need to connect it to composite, or if your TV supports it, set it to use component Y input as composite.

best mount for a large screen tv, May 20, 2007
By

This review is from: Sanus VMPL3-B Tilt Wall Mount for 27″ to 84″ Displays (Black) (Electronics)

I recently purchased the brand new panasonic th-58pz700u, this is a large tv that weighs 140lbs, so after doing much research I found this sanus mount to be the best one for this large tv, the hardware that comes with the mount is excellent, you do not have to run to the hardware store for extra nuts/washers bolts etc… everything you could possibly need comes with the mount. the best part about this unit is that you can install onto 3 studs instead of the more conventional 2 stud installation, this makes it much more secure. I was very lucky in that my house was built back in 1955 and back then they used studs spaced at 12 inches apart instead of the current 16 inch apart requirement, this enabled me to actually use 4 studs for the install, needless to say this tv will never fall off the wall. basically when your going to install this mount read all the instructions thoroughly first and then use masking tape to “draw” on the wall exactly where you want the tv, then figure out where the mount will go in relation to the tv’s mounting holes, then just find the studs and install the mount, I am very happy with this mount and tv looks great, enjoy

This review is from: Sanus VMPL3-B Tilt Wall Mount for 27″ to 84″ Displays (Black) (Electronics)

Ok, after reading reviews on how this mount would not work with some panasonic sets (as well as some others), i was not sure if i needed to by the extended adapter. Just to avoid the installers leaving should this not work i bought the adapter.

results: you DONT need the adapter/extender for this TV. everything you need is in the box.

Sanus TV wall mount – impressive in this day and age …, January 20, 2007
By
Jerry Cipriano (Santa Monica, CA) – See all my reviews

This review is from: Sanus VMPL3-B Tilt Wall Mount for 27″ to 84″ Displays (Black) (Electronics)

In this day and age of mediocre design, shoddy quality control, unreadable instructions, I was quite impressed with this wall mount. It’s only a wall mount and, as such, is not the focus of attention. However, it is the slimmest, lowest profile wall mount I’ve seen. There were multiple options for stud wall mount and concrete block wall mount, and there were well thought out hardware options included. Frequently when I buy a product such as this, I have to run down to the hardware store to get additional nuts and bolts because I’m finicky about the installation. In this case, There was enough hardware and nuts and bolts left over for me to open a hardware store. After I talked to a structural engineer (I didn’t hire one of course, but I’m in a related profession) about mounting over a fireplace, I found the enclosed procedure and hardware from Sanus were even better than the engineer proposed.

I had a 50″ plasma to mount. This bracket had enough hole spacing options to mate to this and a thousand other TVs. It had optional brackets, which I didn’t use, that could have extended it to what seems like a 100″ TV, although don’t sue me if I exaggerated.

I also liked the fact that it was made in the USA. The only nit to pick was that the company took about 3 weeks over the Christmas holidays to get it to me.

Panasonic television question by Hessica: I have a 15-20 year old Panasonic television that recently stopped working?
the screen often flickers the appearance of how wide the screen/view of the show or w.e im watching.usually i’ll hit the television & it stops flickering but juss recently i hit the tv and now theres only a thin line appearing. the television still works b/c i can still clearly hear the show thats on. but the thin line is still there. i cannot afford another television or repair service. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OPTIONS TO HELP ME SOLVE MY PROBLEM PLEASE !

Panasonic television best answer:

Answer by John K
Please specify the model number, eg TX25CK1.

The problem seems to be a loss of vertical deflection.
Sometimes after about 20-25 minutes (variable) the picture may pop up as normal.
The problem will be the IC feeding the scan coils, this may have overheated due to another fault and/or has gone faulty.
The scan coils have no drive from the IC resulting in field collapse.

It is unlikely you will be able to repair the problem yourself, TV’s have very high voltage present when switched on, in the region of 25,000V.

It is less expensive (in terms of finance and your life) to get the set repaired or buy a new one.

You have been warned.

Sharp television question by hit4dough: Sharp 65 inch television lcd question?
I am looking into buying a lcd and specifically SHARP LC65D64U 65″. Is this a decent TV as far as picture quality or is there another 65″ lcd i should look into? If sharp is the one to go with with one of the sharp 65 inches is the best for the price? Thanks
and one more quesiton ..whats the best hdmi cables to get or are they all basically the same

Sharp television best answer:

Answer by thisguyhaskids
Part A: This is a decent TV and a great price. picture quality is great. More than likely, you’re just looking for a good picture and screen and not so much of the other features in the TV.

Part B: They’re all pretty much the same. Monster is great quality brand, but they’re all generally the same. Being a digital signal, there is less chance of interference messing with it anyway.

Best earphones for under Competes with headphones that cost 0+, June 21, 2010
This review is from: MEElectronics M9-BK Hi-Fi Sound-Isolating In-Ear Headphones – Black (Electronics)

Full review can be found here:[...]

Company Info: Meelectronics is a new company that produces some of the best headphones for the price. From my experience, they have some of the best costumer service. Their website can be found here [...]

Product: Meelectronics M9 without iPhone microphone

Price: Retail: I bought mine of Amazon for

Specifications:

* Driver: 9mm driver

* Frequency Range: 20 – 20000Hz

* Impedance: 16 ohms

* Connector: 3.5mm gold plated

* Cable Length: 1.4m(4.6ft)

Equipment Used:

* My custom-built desktop with a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium sound card

* 32GB 3rd generation iPod touch

* Fiio E5 amplifier

Packaging and Accessories: The packaging is a nice, clear plastic box. Not hard to open and gets the job done. When it comes to accessories, there is only one thing I can say, wow. Meelectronics gives you quite a lot of goodies for . The box includes the headphones themselves, 4 extra pairs of tips, 3 varying size pairs of single-flange tips, and an extra pair of bi-flanges making it a total of 5 pairs of tips. A very nice case is included, the case also has a little pocket on the inside for storage of items such as extra tips. An airline adapter, a cord wrapper, and a shirt-clipper is also included. The accessories themselves could retail for +, the generosity of Meelectronics is just amazing.

Build Quality: The M9′s are built very well; the housings are made of aluminum and are very lightweight The cable is a very nice braided cable that is coated in a clear plastic/rubber substance. The stress relief is a 45 degree plug which is the best type of plug for those who carelessly wrap their earphones around their mp3 players. The plug is coated in gold to insure the best connectivity. The only thing I did not like was the filter used on the housings. The paper filter is not very durable and both of mine came off with no way of replacing them. I would have liked a wire mesh filter much more.

Isolation: The M9′s do a slightly-above average job at isolation, I believe this is due to the vent holes in the back of the housings. They are good enough for bus rides, walking, etc. However they will not isolate enough for loud activities, say mowing a lawn. There is very little to no microphonics when the shirt clip is used. The earphones are very comfortable, they are one of the few IEM’s that I can wear comfortably while laying sideways on my pillow.

Sound Signature: I had ran 150 hours of burn-in time using pink noise and frequency sweep files.

* Bass: The bass is the strongest point of the m9′s. Before burn-in, the bass was very boomy, and crept into the mids even the highs. However, after the burn-on, the bass cleaned up significantly. The bass is now more controlled and has great depth and body. The bass has moved from being boomy to being more tight, punchy sounding. The bass is very smooth and can be very deep.

* Midrange: The mids are decent, but nothing too special. The mids lack compared to the bass, but they are still very smooth. Even though they are behind the bass in comparison, they are still very enjoyable.

* Highs: The highs are very good, better than the mids but still behind the bass in comparison. The high’s have an incredible extension for the price and are very sparkley. They are very clear and have surprising amounts of detail but can get a little harsh. However the harshness is not very noticeable when your working out, running, etc.

* Soundstage: The soundstage was quite surprising for an IEM. I thought the headphones were very airy sounding and that there were definite separations between the instruments. The soundstage makes these headphones very enjoyable.

* Conclusion: These headphones are not analytical, but are very fun sounding, they have very good bass, sparkley highs.

Songs:

* Five Magics by Megadeth: The m9′s due a fantastic job with this song. The bass intro sounds amazing. The cymbals sound very detailed however can get harsh, especially with an increase in volume.

* Anonanimal by Andrew Bird: One word, AMMMMMMAAAAAAAZZZZZIIIIIIINGGGGG. The song just utilizes the bass and the highs of the M9′s in an indescribable way. The violin sounds crystal clear, the bass is great. I believe this song is great for testing out headphones.

* Big Poppa by The Notorious B.I.G: Sounds very good however for some reason I wanted more bass quality.

* Better Together by Jack Johnson: An acoustic song that shows the surprising detail of the M9′s. The acoustic guitar and the vocals just shined with the M9′s…

Excellent earphones — quality way above the price-point!!, March 29, 2010
By
K. Haynes (Jackson, MS, USA) – See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)

This review is from: MEElectronics M9-BK Hi-Fi Sound-Isolating In-Ear Headphones – Black (Electronics)

I have the silver model without the microphone, but same earphone. These are very solidly built earphones, have one of the best cables you’ll find on any earphones up to 0, and have a great sound quality that rivals much more expensive phones, like the Klipsch S4.

The M9 has a very strong bass response (a little boomy until about 30-40 hours of use), a flat or slightly recessed mid response, and a very clear strong treble response (a bit grainy, also until the 30-40 hour use mark). They give very good details all across the spectrum, have a pleasantly wide soundstage, and yet are still very musical and still put you in the middle of the music, enjoying it, not just analyzing it.

The M9 comes with very nice accessories for the price, as well. You get several ear tips to give you the right seal. Like most IEMs, it can be sensitive to insertion depth and position: too shallow kills the bass response, too deep and the treble response is dulled. You also get a nice carry case that is big enough to probably hold the very small Nano, Sansa Clip type players.

A very worthy small investment.

Sharp question by Chivas: How do I take a clear and sharp self portrait?
I have an Olympus Stylus 1000 10 MP camera and it seems like the only time I get clear and sharp pictures is when I’m outside. I’m guessing the light in my house isn’t bright enough or something. Does anyone have any tips?

Sharp best answer:

Answer by photoguy_ryan
Easiest answer seems to be “shoot outside”.

But, if you get better lighting, use a tripod, and your cameras timer function.

If your shooting in auto, let it do its thing. Make sure ISO, and whitebalance are set to auto also.

IF you can, use a little light on the background, over you to highlight your hair, and your main light 45 degrees in front of and to your side. This will give you definition and detail for great portraits. Try to not use your camera flash if you can help it. Use off camera light as much as possible.

Use work lights, table lamps, whatever. Practice a bit on light angles, etc…

Aside from that, the only other things I can suggest is learn your camera, and its manual settings as well as possible. That will give you the ability to try even more little things to give you the photo you want.

Instead of scrapping the great ideas, we used them to create an original tune. You will hear influences and inspiration from other artists. Try and guess them. On the recording, Steven Sharp Nelson laid down over 100 tracks including cello textures never known possible. Every single sound on the video was made using only the instruments shown: piano, cello, mouth percussion and kick drum. We utilized some cool effects on lots of stuff…for example the U2-style delay on Steve’s pizzicato at the beginning. The extra string on the electric cellos (the black cello has an extra high string and the white cello has an extra low string) allowed us to cover the full range of the orchestra. The deep bass drum sound is a bump on the body of the cello with a little help from some effects. The shaker sound was created by Steve rubbing rosin on his bow. Great PQ, but HORRIBLE (delayed) brightness fluctuations, July 20, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

To preface this I have had 2 P50ST30s (one replacement because of the problems I will talk about below) and Amazon was awesome with the whole return and replacement. One of the best companies I have dealt with. This is a very long review as I would like you to understand what you are buying beforehand.

ALL VERSIONS OF PANASONIC 2011 TVs ARE EXHIBITING THIS PROBLEM.

I was excited when I first set up my TV and took the time to age the phosphors in the TV for 150 hours by running slides (a step that can be skipped but the phosphors degrade in the first 100 hours faster than the rest of it’s life). I set up the blu-ray player and after dialing in the settings it looked awesome. Then the brightness fluctuations happened.

The best way I can explain brightness fluctuations ( Fluctuating Brightness or FBr) is will be a leap in lighting. When you have a dark scene the whole picture will darken some to give more detail to a shadowed area. It is necessary to give great picture quality in any plasma. Normally what will happen is that it will gradually fade into darker or lighter, this TV does it all in one step. A drastic comparison would be a pitch black room where you turn a light on vs turning a dimmer light on gradually. What you see on the screen is picture that will switch from dark to lighter. It is most noticeable when you have 2 scenes switching back and forth (think dialogue between 2 characters where it switches between ones face to the other) and one scene is darker than the other. You can easily see this in the movie Hereafter around minute 40.

This problem is exacerbated by a delay in the video processing of the switch between darker scenes and lighter scenes. In almost all video they will have scenes cut and pasted together. When this happens the lighting usually will change for various reasons. When the scenes cut from one to another this TV will take about 0.5-1 second to process the lighting difference to adjust to give more detail to shadowed areas. Given that it does it in one leap as mentioned above, it severely distracts you from watching the movie and enjoying it.

Darker Movies will usually bring out these symptoms to it’s max. When I went to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, I came to the point where I started counting the fluctuations instead of watching the movie. I counted 56 total in one watching. My wife didn’t watch HP with me but she commented on it while watching Castle a few times, then more and more on other shows.

The reviews are definitely favorable as it has a great picture quality without doubt. Most professional reviewers mention fluctuating brightness problem, but gloss over it. Why they did I am not sure. It seems that some sets show this dramatically, while others don’t. My first one (the one I counted 56 fluctuations on for HP) I would say was very bad compared to a slightly less worse one that I got the second time around. I re watched HP on the second one to see if I could just enjoy the movie, got to the point I started counting again and only counter 32 which were more tame but still easy to spot without even looking for them. To make sure it just wasn’t me seeing things because I knew when they were, I made (yes she wasn’t to happy about it) her watch Tron with me. We first started Tron in 2d and she saw it some; then I popped in the 3d disc and she was pointing it out in every other scene.

I placed a complaint with US Panasonic as this was unacceptable, trying to explain it the best as I am now. I was walked through changing multiple settings (CATS off, trying all modes, changing contrast and all other settings, using 3 different HDMI cables along with composite and component cables) with nothing relieving the issue. Their response was that this is a feature of the TV and that it was working properly. Some of their exact words in the email I later received were ” the picture dimming (fluctuating brightness) is negligible and should be considered within the TV’s design specification.”

In Spain a gentleman Documented this for Panasonic to prove that something was wrong. If you would like to see how bad this is; there has been a video posted by a member of a great forum for high def junkies that shows this instance (Google ” VT30 hereafter ” and it will show in the youtube vids) if you would like to see exactly what I am talking about. The TV here was the VT series which is Panasonic’s flagship model and cost well over ,200 of this TV.

Since the posting of the above video Spain got a firmware update to 1.520. The same person posted the exact same scene with the same setup which you can also view by clicking on his name or clicking on it on the right hand side. It eliminates this problem, since then Europe Panasonic have acknowledged that there is something that they are looking into (circumventing saying there is a problem). But US…

Couldn’t be happier, March 30, 2011

Like everyone else interested in making the big screen purchase, I spent hours every night reading reviews, shopping around, comparing specs and prices, and trying to decide whether I should go lcd or plasma. Ultimately, I ended up just going to the local BB and seeing which one looked and felt right to me. I purchased this beautiful 55in plasma and I couldn’t be happier about it. I’ve had it for over two weeks now and I don’t have a single complaint. The picture is great and the sound is just fine for my living space(apartment). The 2D-3D conversion is alright but you should not expect much from any television’s conversion. The 3D Blu-Ray is a different story – The Ultimate Wave Tahiti is AMAZING (I had to watch it twice because I didn’t follow a word because I was so blown away by the picture) and Resident Evil Afterlife was fun to watch (the 3D at least).

I realized that all the hours I spent reading super detailed reviews was somewhat a waste of time because when it comes down to it, I don’t really care about or even notice the subtle differences that so many people compare. I just wanted a solid tv with great picture at an affordable price and this was it.

The setup was beyond easy. The remote and on-screen menus are very user-friendly.

The widgets all work just fine. Watching youtube videos on a 55in can be entertaining.

My roommate and I are traveling surfers and licensed skydivers so we have plenty of GoPro HD videos that we watch on this tv using the SD card slot(we also watch them through the youtube widget)and they look phenomenal.

BOTTOM LINE: If you want a solid big screen with great picture at the right price then this is it. Highly recommend. If you have any questions then just leave a comment.

Fluctuating Brightness Can Break Your Movie Watching Experience…or not!, July 21, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

My previous tv (which I sold off already, regrettably) was a Panasonic th-42pz80u. This was my first step into the wonderful world of plasma tv’s & I have nothing but praise for it. I recently decided that I wanted to squeeze the largest tv I could fit into my entertainment armoire & considering how much I loved my old tv I figured it was a safe bet to stick with the Panasonic brand.

Immediately after turning the st30 on & popping in Planet Earth on Blu Ray for a test run I was extremely happy with both the new size of screen in front of me & the fantastic picture quality. I played around some more, tweaking the picture & features on my new set & decided to start watching some of my select Blu Rays that don’t have letterboxing. I read somewhere that it’s best to watch movies that take up the whole screen for the first 100 hours or so of a new plasma. I’m no tech head so I just do what I’m told. :p

Not long into watching “Starship Troopers” I noticed my first flicker, or fluctuation. Every time the film made a cut there was an adjustment in brightness that came a half second later. I began rewinding it over & over & couldn’t believe my eyes. After the awful flickering in the beginning I continued to watch & noticed it happening throughout, though not as bad as the start of the film. I’ve watched a few movies since then, such as – Sin City (noticeable but not terrible), LotR Fellowship of the Ring (noticeable but not terrible), & OH MY GOD Final Fantasy: Advent Children. Final Fantasy was just unwatchable with flickering all over the place. For those who don’t know, Final Fantasy is entirely computer animated which might have something to do with it being so noticeable. I would expect the Pixar films to behave just as poorly but I can’t say for certain.

I started researching & discovered that the fluctuating brightness (or “FBr”) is not an unusual phenomenon. Just google “panasonic fluctuating brightness” & read up on it. The forum “high def junkies” is a good place to start as they have been discussing it in depth for a while.

I haven’t lost all hope yet! There has been talk of Panasonic sending out a firmware upgrade to their Spanish customers on a case-by-case basis that actually FIXES this problem! Or at least adjusts it so the fluctuation isn’t visible to the naked eye. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this firmware makes it stateside so I can begin enjoying my tv. If that happens I will definitely change my rating of 1 to a 5 star. I’ll be keeping my eye on that 30-day return date in the meantime, however.

********EDIT**************

After emailing Panasonic & starting a case with them I waited patiently for an email or a phone call, but after a month none came. I kept up with the community on high def junkies & eventually discovered that Panasonic had started sending local repair guys out with a new A-Board, or if you’re one of the lucky few a much simpler fix was available if a Panasonic employee could come to your house. I called Panasonic to see what the status on my case was, only to find out they had closed my case without any kind of notification. Jerks. The person I spoke with on the phone was apologetic & knew exactly what I was talking about when I brought up fluctuating brightness. I was FINALLY getting somewhere. Within a week of that phone call they sent the replacement A-Board to my local repair shop & I had an “FBr” free tv!

For those curious, they did have to take apart my tv. After watching that terrifying ordeal it was just a simple unplug-this plug-in-that & they were done. VERY happy overall.

After the fix this is easily a 5-star tv in my book. I’m a little conflicted on showering it with nothing but praise, however. I didn’t exactly buy this tv day-1 of it’s release & it took them this long to even acknowledge there was a terrible defect in a large number of their sets.

For those few who complain about picture quality I will agree that right out of the box the picture quality doesn’t really jump out at you, but after buying a calibration disc & tweaking the custom settings it really looks amazing. Easily the best in its price range.

In short – if you’re on the fence about this set, don’t be. If you’re unlucky & get one that was built before they had this fix installed, Panasonic will handle it!

Panasonic tv question by Ryan: How can i fix my Panasonic analog color TV?
The picture in my Panasonic analog TV went out and all i get is a black screen except for a thin bar right across the middle of the screen. I’d like to fix it myself rather than pay to have it fixed somewhere else.. any ideas?

Panasonic tv best answer:

Answer by countryfirst
That’s often due to bad capacitors, but you have to know what you’re doing to find and replace them, and have to be aware that you’re dealing with potentially high voltages when you open up one of those TV’s.
If you have a schematic, look at the capacitors in the vertical deflection and pin amp sections. You’ll need an ESR meter to check for bad caps, which could cost you as much as a service call to have a tech fix it.

Great TV, March 19, 2010
This review is from: Panasonic TC-P50C2 50-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV (Electronics)

I’ve had this TV almost a week and like it more everyday.

Bought it from Best Buy for 0 with free delivery and set up.

When the delivery guys set it up, thye told me that in order to get

the picture that I saw in the showroom, that I had to switch out

my Direct TV receiver and dish to HD. Called Direct TV and had the HD

dish and receiver installed. Boy, what a difference. I can’t get

over how great the picture is, and you can’t beat the price. I played

BB against HHGregg, and they both fell over each other trying to get the sale.

It listed for 0 at both places, but I got it for 0. I’ve read about

buzzing noise complaints, but I have not had this problem. This is the 2010

version of this model. I’m a happy camper.

Good TV for the price, June 26, 2010
This review is from: Panasonic TC-P50C2 50-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV (Electronics)

Good TV for the price, but in SD the picture is not so good depending on the signal being used. When using Blu Ray (Panasonic BD60), images are excellent and the differences between Full HD and HD are imperceptible, as the Blu Ray does a good job in converting to 1080p. I calibrated the TV with Datacolor Spyder3TV with completely dark environment (night) the software generated the following results after more than 100 hours of use: Brightness: 60; Contrast: 82; color: 78; Tint: 1 Temperature: Warm; Sharpness 0.

Decent TV but you get what you pay for sometimes., April 25, 2010
This review is from: Panasonic TC-P50C2 50-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV (Electronics)

Bought this TV because of the price and the reviews of the older generation model. For the most part I am very happy with this machine. My biggest concern is that several times a minute, the screen dims and brightens on its’ own, which gets extremely annoying. I called up Panasonic. Their answer was basically, “We know about the problem but unfortunately there is no solution at this moment. Our engineers are working on it. Here is your case number. For now, make sure CATS is off and that you are watching the TV on “Cinema” setting and that should minimize the annoyance.” They don’t know when they’ll have a solution nor can they inform me when one is available. If anyone else out there noticed this problem, please feel free to voice your opinion as well. I’m a little upset because if I had known this ahead of time, I would have held off on buying this TV until a solution was found.

Sharp led tv question by : **********Which LED/LCD tv is the most bang for your buck***********?
Hello,
I have a 20 year old hitachi tv and I decided it’s about time to upgrade to a better tv!
I was looking at these tv’s. I’m leaning more towards a samsung, however i’m a tad confused on the dynamic contrast ratio. The more expensive samsung LED model has a whopping 3,200,000:1 and the other has only 30,000:1. Does this dramatically effect the quality of the picture?
Thank you for your opinions and input!

Solid, affordable and easy to install HDTV wall mount, June 27, 2009

I bought this wall mounting system based on the other person’s review. I’m glad that I did. UPS delivered this mount on the same day my new TV was getting delivered. With a little measuring, I had this installed in about an hour. It came with all of the hardware and fasteners that I needed. No missing pieces. No damage or scratches. It mounts to studs and it very strong. There are holes in the base plate to run wires through. They are in 2 different places so you can pick the location that fits your situation best. I was worried that this might be a 2-person job but I did everything by myself. I mounted a new 40″ Samsung. It fits securely and will not fall off the wall by mistake. I have had to remove the TV 3 times due to adding components and running new wires through the wall. Loosening the security screws on the TV rails allow you to take the TV off of the wall, do your business and hang it back up again in no time. Tighten the security screws once again and you’re done. You can tilt the top down if you like but I have mine flush with the wall. It looks classy and there are no visible wires. My wife thought it was magic. This is a great bargain and well made. This is the wall mounting system for you too.

Easy to install and works the same as brackets priced twice as much. I went out on a limb to ‘buy cheap’ and was rewarded for once – why pay for the same piece of metal just because it’s branded? This one works great.

Don’t let the price fool you into thinking this is not a quality product. Not only is the bracket and arms of solid construction you get an amazing amount of bolts, washers, spacers that will accomodate any flat screen TV.

It comes in a shiny strong box that’s shipped in another snug fitting shipping box, so there’s no chance of shipping damage.

Seriously, I don’t know how Warehouseseller can sell this high quality product for this price.

As the instructions say, make sure you use a stud finder to find the vertical wall studs. You want the lags to hit the center of the stud. Another trick I’ve learned in locating the center of a stud (if you don’t have a stud finder) is to knock on the wall. As you move down the wall you’ll hear the sound go from a hollow knock to a harder one. This is where a stud is located.

(Locating the upper two lag bolt hole points) Put a pencil mark at the harder knock point. Now take a drill motor, a 1/16″ bit and start drilling holes left and right of your mark until you find both edges of the stud. Adjust your mark to be centered on the first stud. Vertical studs are placed 16″ on center, so measure over 16″ and locate the 2nd stud in the same manner using the drill motor. Make sure to drill a pilot hole into the stud, so the lag doesn’t split the stud. The hole will be the size of the lag shank (thickness of the lag without the threads).

Now that you have the upper lags holes drilled the lower ones should fall into place, but if you feel inclined you can “drill search” the lower ones also.

The built in level is fairly accurate, but I used a 4′ level to make sure.

Great TV – Top Brand – Great Size For Bedrooms, August 9, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: Samsung UN32D4003 32-Inches 720p 60Hz LED HDTV (Black) (Electronics)

We Recently Purchased the Samsung UN32D4003 LED TV. I must say i was a little weary do to the fact that it is a 720p and not a 1080p (all i have owned is 1080p). Once I have hooked it up I really cannot complain, being 32″ its very hard to tell the nuance differences in 720p & 1080p, im sure if the TV was bigger there might be a viewing issue.

This was purchased for our bedroom where 32″ is the PERFECT size anything smaller is hard to see and anything bigger belongs in a Bachelors bedroom which i am not.

Amazon as usual had the BEST price available on this TV & even if they didn’t they will price match for you ! How wonderful is that !

This is the 3rd Samsung TV we have owned (recently purchased a 58″ 3dtv which is amazing) and literally have ZERO complaints ! I tried researching this TV before purchasing with no such luck, i literally couldn’t find a single review. My only GRIPE (if you want to call it that) is that the LED is a little cartoony, this is the first LED tv we have owned so it will take some getting used to, but the overall picture is perfect !

This 32″ is a bit HIGH when compared to other brands, BUT it is Samsung whom i think takes the CAKE in TV manufacturing (Sony is a close 2nd). So for those of you wanting a 32″ and not wanting to go with a Sharp-Onyo-Vizio, This TV is for you it also has 2 HDMI ports which is more then enough for what we are using it for.

Good Picture no Audio Out, August 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: Samsung UN32D4003 32-Inches 720p 60Hz LED HDTV (Black) (Electronics)

I purchased this TV from Amazon on Monday and reveived it on Wednesday. I was looking for a TV for our bedroom and based on the reviews and price this set looked to fit the bill. After hooking it up and adjusting the picture it seemed to work great for my needs. Then I started looking for the audio out and/or hedphone jacks so I could hook it up to my ZVOX audio system. To my suprise this set has neither. Wow I have not seen a TV without audio out or headphone jacks in the last 20 years. What were they thinking? I was able to hook up my ZVOX system to the cable box but it is not the best arrangement. If I want to use an over the air antenna I am stuck with the small intergrated speakers with limited volume.

Great TV, Great Brand, no complaints!, August 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: Samsung UN32D4003 32-Inches 720p 60Hz LED HDTV (Black) (Electronics)

I purchased the Samsung UN32D4003 last week, and I was a bit skeptical because I literally couldn’t find a review anywhere on the internet. However, it being a samsung tv and an LED, I was almost assured that it would be a good buy. Having had the tv for about a week and a half now I am very impressed. The picture is as good as any larger 1080p televisions and it also very visually striking because it is so thin being an LED, and also just the overall design is fantastic, because I found most 32″ tv’s to be quite ugly. I was able to buy it with a 10% AMEX code, so my total was 359.99 and for that price I don’t think theres a better 32″ tv on the market. The speakers are the only thing about the tv that is not phenomenal, but im planning on buying a small logitech system to fix that, and that is only because I’m an audiophile and love quality sound, for everyday usage the speakers are fine, but if you are looking for something that sounds good even at high volumes then a cheap surround sound will make a world of difference.

Samsung tv question by B_1519: How to turn the blue light on my samsung tv???????
I cant get the blue light on the bottom of my new tv to come on, its a samsung. How to program it or what?

Samsung tv best answer:

Answer by kg7or
I found that in my Samsung owner’s guide. Look in the table of contents under the FUNCTION DESCRIPTION list for “Setting the Light Effect.” They refer to the blue light as an LED, which it is. You can set it to several different modes.

Panasonic led tv question by Shaqo_Wyn: Panasonic LED HDTV TC-L32D2?
Hi, well I bought a Panasonic LED HDTV with the model number I posted in the question title and it works fine. But it came without a stand. I was wondering if anybody knows what kind of stand this TV requires.

Panasonic led tv best answer:

Answer by bbt91945
Open your owners manual and it it provide you the proper stand for it at an extra cost. I am surprise that it did not come with it. You can also call or email Panasonic, beside that I recommend you also register your tv online with the manufacturer. Hope this will help you out.
