How Can I Fix The Color Spill In A 60 Inch Panasonic Lcd Projection Tv.?

by admin on February 11, 2010

My tv looks somewhat like a lava lamp. There are blotches of blue that constantly change in shape and position on my screen. If my TV is displaying a blue still image it will also burn into the screen for about a minute. The color on the TV is perfect. I just wish I could get rid of the blue. This happened right after changing the lamp, but I was told that they were not related. Can anyone google better than me?

If you have a panasonic LCD projection and the model #s has an LCX in it then: You have damaged data in your memory ic. This is a well known problem, and any panasonic technician can repair it in less than 30 minutes. This should be covered by warranty. Call panasonic customer service to set up your service call. I have personally done this upgrade.
If this isn’t your model number you could have dust in your optics. This usually needs a tech to remove the engine and clean the optics.
