try to change the bright and contrast some time its make the picture look bad if its not work try to use the menu in the tv and change to movie mode and see what will happend.

Foggy video is usually a symptom of watching SD , analog cable, on a big TV. You will get the best quality with an HD signal or at minimum digital SD (digital cable or sat).
You can certainly buy a DVD calibration disc (or try to find a DVD with the free THX Optimizer). Video Essentials is a good one and the ISF/Monster is also good. Then copy those settings for your TV port. (each port in an HDTV can have its own setup).</description>
